Creating your KI Score account

Signing up for KI Score takes three steps: enter your email address, fill in your account details, and confirm your address with a 6-digit code. After that, you go straight to onboarding, where you set up your first website.

Start the registration

1. Open toolkit.kiscore.ai/register. This address redirects you to the registration page at /signup.
2. Under “Wie lautet Ihre E-Mail-Adresse?” (What's your email address?), enter your address in the E-Mail (Email) field.
3. Click Weiter (Continue).

KI Score then checks whether an account already exists for this address. If the address is already registered and confirmed, you're redirected to the sign-in page. If it's registered but not yet confirmed, you go straight to the code step.

Note: You always sign up with an email address and a password. KI Score doesn't offer sign-in with Google or Microsoft accounts, single sign-on (SSO), or passkeys.

Create your account: name, password, and terms

In the second step, “Erstellen Sie Ihr Konto” (Create your account), your email address is already filled in.

1. Enter your name in the Vorname (First name) and Nachname (Last name) fields.
2. Choose a password with at least 8 characters in the Passwort (Password) field.
3. Check the box next to Ich stimme den Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen zu (I agree to the Terms and Conditions). The link opens the terms in a new tab.
4. Click Konto erstellen (Create account).

The Konto erstellen button only becomes active once all fields are filled in and the box is checked. KI Score then emails you the confirmation code.

Confirm your email address with the code

In the third step, “Bestätigen Sie Ihre E-Mail-Adresse” (Confirm your email address), you see six input boxes.

1. Open the email containing the code in your email app.
2. Enter the 6-digit code.
3. Click Bestätigen (Confirm).

The code is valid for 10 minutes. After five wrong entries it is locked, and KI Score no longer accepts even the correct code. In that case, request a new code. If it's wrong or has expired, you see the message “Der Code ist ungültig oder abgelaufen. Fordern Sie bei Bedarf einen neuen Code an.” (The code is invalid or has expired. Request a new code if needed.)

Which email addresses are allowed

• Addresses from free email providers are allowed. You don't need a company address.
• KI Score rejects disposable addresses, meaning short-lived throwaway inboxes.
• KI Score also rejects addresses whose domain doesn't receive email. This catches typos in the domain.
• Each inbox can only have one account. Plus addresses such as name+test@company.com count as the same address as name@company.com. For Gmail, dots before the @ don't count either, so j.doe@gmail.com and jdoe@gmail.com are the same inbox.

If your inbox already has an account, sign in with that account instead of creating a new one.

If the code doesn't arrive

First, check your spam or promotions folder. If the code isn't there either, or if it has expired, request a new one:

1. Wait until the countdown next to Erneut senden (Resend) has finished. After each code is sent, the button is locked for 55 seconds.
2. Next to “Code nicht erhalten?” (Didn't get the code?), click Erneut senden.
3. Enter the new code.

Each new code replaces the previous one, so only the most recent code works, again for 10 minutes. You can request a new code at most three times per email address within 24 hours. If a code still doesn't arrive, email support@kiscore.ai.

If you closed the window before entering the code, start the registration again with the same address. KI Score recognizes the unconfirmed account and takes you straight to the code step, where you can request a new code right away.

After confirming: on to onboarding

Once you've confirmed your address, you're usually signed in automatically and taken to onboarding. You also receive the email “Willkommen bei KI Score” (Welcome to KI Score).

If the browser window no longer knows your password, for example after reloading the page or on a different device, the code step shows the notice “Nach der Bestätigung melden Sie sich einmal mit Ihrem Passwort an.” (After confirming, sign in once with your password.) In that case, KI Score takes you to the sign-in page after confirmation and then on to onboarding.

Registering is not a paid order. You choose a plan later, in a separate onboarding step. You can also find the plans on the plans page.
