What do the notices on the KI Score page mean?
What the status messages and notices on the KI Score page mean, from “Noch nicht sichtbar” to “Zu wenig messbare KI-Nachfrage”.
Last updated 23 days ago
Depending on where your market measurement stands, the KI Score page shows different status messages and notices. This article explains what each one means and whether you need to do anything.
When no score is shown yet
Instead of metrics, the page shows a card with one of these states:
- “Dein KI-Score ist in Vorbereitung” (your KI Score is being prepared): your market is waiting for approval to be measured. The KI Score team reviews and approves markets that KI Score has never measured before. You don't need to do anything; the first measurement then starts automatically.
- “Deine Marktmessung wird vorbereitet” (your market measurement is being prepared): your market is being set up or measured right now. On its own, the title says nothing about a wait. Markets that are already measured are included from the next regular measurement. Depending on the stage, the card may also show the day from which your first KI Score is expected to appear, or the next regular measurement window.
- “Noch keine vollständige Messung” (no complete measurement yet): there is no complete measurement week yet. Once there is, ranking, share of AI mentions, and trend appear.
- “Marke noch nicht zugeordnet” (brand not yet assigned): the website has no brand assigned yet. KI Score and ranking can only be shown once it does.
- “Vergleichsgruppe noch nicht festgelegt” (comparison group not yet set): the service and region for the right comparison still need to be set for the brand.
- “Marktkontingent ausgeschöpft” (market quota used up) or “Nicht im Marktkontingent” (not in the market quota): the market is currently not included in your workspace's market quota. Markets already measured in the current period stay assigned until the end of the period and take priority. After that, comparison markets take priority. Review your markets or pick a plan with more markets under Einstellungen → Billing (settings → billing): Essential 1, Advanced 2, Premium 5, Enterprise unlimited.
- “Zu wenig messbare KI-Nachfrage” (too little measurable AI demand): there is too little AI demand for a fair comparison in your market, even at larger geographic levels. The KI Score team checks whether a suitable market level exists. Your monitoring with your own prompts keeps running as usual.
The card also reminds you that you can already use your own prompts. They don't change your KI Score. If a comparison market is set, you can adjust it with Markt bearbeiten (edit market).
If the comparison data can't be loaded, you see “KI-Score derzeit nicht verfügbar” (KI Score currently unavailable).
Measurement in progress or delayed
During a market measurement, the card shows the market under “Dein Vergleichsmarkt” (your comparison market) along with the current step. A measurement queries on two measurement days, three days apart.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| “Dein Markt wird gemessen” (your market is being measured) | Answers are being fetched. The KI Score follows after both measurement days. |
| “Zweiter Messtag geplant” (second measurement day scheduled) | The pause between the measurement days is part of the plan. |
| “Nächster Abruf geplant” (next fetch scheduled) | Outstanding answers are being fetched again. |
| “Antworten werden ausgewertet” (answers are being analyzed) | Brand mentions in the answers are being processed. |
| “KI-Score wird berechnet” (KI Score is being calculated) | Analysis is done; the calculation is still pending. |
| “Messung verzögert” (measurement delayed) | The measurement is taking longer than planned. No completion time is set yet. |
| “Messung fehlgeschlagen” (measurement failed) | No KI Score is calculated from this run. Existing answers are kept. |
| “Messung ausgewertet” (measurement analyzed) | The run has been analyzed. The KI Score appears once a publishable measurement is available. |
Below the status you see the progress as a share, such as “60 % der Antworten liegen vor.” (60% of the answers are in), plus a bar labeled Antworten abgerufen (answers fetched) or, once analysis starts, Antworten ausgewertet (answers analyzed). Depending on the stage, the card also shows the expected date of your first KI Score or the next fetch.
After the first measurement day, a private, preliminary value may already appear next to KI-Score in the sidebar. It isn't citable and is replaced by the regular value after the second measurement day.
“Noch nicht sichtbar”
“Noch nicht sichtbar” (not visible yet) means your brand was reliably measured but wasn't mentioned in the most recent counted measurements. This isn't a technical error; it's a real measurement result. The rest of the page with the market comparison is still shown.
“Messung nicht gewertet”
“Messung nicht gewertet” (measurement not counted) means a measurement did take place, but the measurement weeks didn't meet the methodology's quality thresholds. They therefore don't count toward your KI Score. Once a reliable week is available, ranking and trend reappear. The difference from “Noch keine vollständige Messung”: here the measurement didn't fail to happen; it was discarded.
Note: A week that isn't counted is not replaced by an older measurement in the smoothed value.
Notices about your market
- “Gemessener Markt weicht ab” (measured market differs): a different geographic area is being measured than the one you chose. Usually demand at your level is too low, so KI Score measures one level up, such as the region instead of the city. The notice names the starting location, the market mode, and the level actually measured. Alternatively, the KI Score team has set the measurement area.
- “Markt zusammengeführt” (market merged): your previous market was editorially merged with another one. Your measurement continues in the shared comparison market.
- “Weitere Märkte” (additional markets): this notice lists markets that don't have their own tab yet, each with its status. “Nicht im Kontingent” (not in the quota) means the market exceeds your workspace's market quota and will be measured as soon as a slot frees up. “Vorgemerkt” (scheduled), “In Vorbereitung” (being prepared), and “Wird eingerichtet” (being set up) mark markets before their first measurement. “Zu wenig KI-Nachfrage” (too little AI demand) means the market doesn't take up a slot and you can add it again with a larger region.
- “Weiterer Markt” (additional market): this tab doesn't show your comparison market but an additional one. The value next to KI-Score in the sidebar applies only to your comparison market. The two values can't be combined.
What teams say about KI Score
“We finally see week by week where our brand shows up in ChatGPT and Perplexity.”
“The score finally gave us one number the whole team actually understands.”
“Instead of guessing which prompts matter, we now have real data.”
“Within the first week we already saw which competitor was beating us in AI answers.”
“Setup took one afternoon, not weeks of onboarding.”
“Finally a tool that takes AI Overviews as seriously as classic SEO.”
