Reading notifications in the Scoreboard
Which events the bell in the Scoreboard reports, how the inbox and archive work, and why there are no notification settings.

KI Score points out important events in the dashboard, for example when your credits are running low or a measurement didn’t work. You’ll find these notifications in the bell in the Scoreboard. This article explains which events trigger a notification and how to manage them.
Where to find notifications
Open the Scoreboard. At the top right of the page header, next to the download icon, is the bell (screen reader name “Benachrichtigungen”, notifications). A dot on the bell means there are unread notifications. The bell is only available in the Scoreboard.
The bell shows the notifications for the website selected at the top of the sidebar, plus those for the whole workspace, such as credit notifications. To see notifications about another website, select that website.
Which events trigger a notification
- Credit usage: when 80, 90, and 100% of your plan’s credits are used, for example “80 % deiner Credits verbraucht” (80% of your credits used). KI Score reports each threshold once per billing period.
- “Credits reichen voraussichtlich nicht bis zur Verlängerung” (Credits probably won’t last until renewal): your schedules are expected to need more credits by the end of the billing period than you have left. The notification says when your credits will probably run out and comes at most once a week.
- “Messung fehlgeschlagen” (Measurement failed): a measurement didn’t return any answers. The credits for it are refunded.
- “Messung übersprungen” (Measurement skipped): a measurement wasn’t started. The notification gives the reason, for example an insufficient balance or no active prompts.
- “Erwähnungsrate von … ist gestiegen” (Mention rate of … has increased): after a measurement, a tracked competitor’s mention rate is higher than in the previous measurement and more than 1.5 times the average of the earlier measurements, at 5% or more.
- “Report versendet” (Report sent) and “Report nicht versendet” (Report not sent): for every slot of a delivery plan, with the reason if nothing was sent. To learn more, read Creating and emailing reports.
Inbox and archive
The bell’s window has two tabs:
- Posteingang (Inbox) with all open notifications, followed by the number of unread ones
- Archiv (Archive) with the notifications you have archived
To work through the entries:
- Alle gelesen (All read) marks every entry in the inbox as read.
- Use the icons on an entry to mark it as read (screen reader name “Als gelesen markieren”, mark as read) or move it to the archive (“Archivieren”, archive).
- In the archive, “Zurück in den Posteingang” (Back to inbox) moves an entry back.
Notifications can’t be deleted.
Everyone in the workspace receives the same notifications; people whose invitation is still pending don’t yet. Read and archived status, however, apply to each person individually. If you archive an entry, it stays in your colleagues’ inboxes.
No settings
There are no notification settings. You can’t turn off individual events or set your own thresholds. Notifications only appear in the dashboard; KI Score doesn’t send them by email.
Separately, KI Score sends a few system emails, for example when your credits are running low or a scheduled run was skipped. To see which ones, read Which emails does KI Score send?.
