Seeing which of your pages AI answers cite
Use the page view in Sources to find out which URLs from your website show up as sources in AI answers.
Last updated 11 days ago
Sources shows you not only which domains AI answers cite but also the individual URLs. This article explains how to find your own website's pages there, how to read the metrics, and how to see which prompts a page is cited for.
The page view in Sources
- In the sidebar, open Sources in the Sichtbarkeit (Visibility) group.
- At the top, switch from Domains to Seiten (Pages).
- If needed, choose a different time range under Zeitraum (Time period): Letzte 7 Tage (Last 7 days), Letzte 14 Tage (Last 14 days), Letzte 30 Tage (Last 30 days, the default), Gesamter Zeitraum (All time), or your own range in the calendar.
Each row now represents a cited URL instead of a domain. The columns are the same as in the domain view. The Domain column keeps its name, but it shows the full URL.
KI Score standardizes URLs before counting them: the host name is lowercased, and fragments (#…), tracking parameters such as utm_*, gclid, and fbclid, and any trailing slash are removed. That way, variants of the same page end up in a single row. KI Score resolves Google search redirect links to the actual page. If such a link can't be resolved, it doesn't count as a source.
Finding your own URLs
By default, the table shows all sources, including your own domain and the domains of your tracked competitors. There is no filter for your own domain only. To find your own URLs:
- If the filter bar shows the Quellen (Sources) filter with the value Nur Drittquellen (Third-party sources only), remove it with the X next to it. It hides your own URLs.
- Type your domain into the URL suchen… (Search URL) field, for example example.com.
- Check the letter in the Typ (Type) column. Hover over it to see the source type. Your own URLs carry the letter O for Eigene Domain (Own domain).
The search matches any part of a URL, so a path like /blog works too. Your own domain means your website's address, including its subdomains and other domains of your brand. If your website sits on a subdomain, the main domain counts too. If you change the website address, the classification is recalculated immediately for all past citations.
Note: The table only lists pages that were cited at least once. Pages that no answer names as a source don't appear. Only answers to your own monitoring prompts are counted.
Zitationsrate, Antworten, and Verlauf
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Zitationsrate (Citation rate) | Share of all completed monitoring answers in the selected time range that name this URL as a source |
| Antworten (Answers) | Number of answers that cite this URL |
| Verlauf (Trend) | Citation rate per calendar week over the last 8 weeks, regardless of the selected time range. Weeks without answers stay blank. |
| Marke erwähnt % (Brand mentioned %) | Share of the citing answers that mention your brand |
| Wettbewerber erwähnt % (Competitors mentioned %) | Share of the citing answers that mention at least one tracked competitor |
By default, the table is sorted by Zitationsrate in descending order. Click a column header to sort by another metric, and use Spalten (Columns) to hide or reorder columns. Use + Filter to narrow the table further, for example to one model, prompt, topic, or tag. KI Score doesn't offer a separate report of your best or weakest pages. The sorted page view is how you see your most-cited URLs.
Which prompts cite a page
- Click the URL in the table. The detail panel opens.
- At the top, review the Zitationsrate im Zeitverlauf (Citation rate over time) and Zitate nach KI-Anbieter (Citations by AI provider) sections.
- Open the Prompts tab to see the prompts whose answers cite this URL.
- Open the Responses tab to read the individual answers.
You can search both tabs with the search field next to them. Use the download icon (Belege exportieren, Export evidence) to save the open tab as a CSV file. To export the whole page view, use the table's download icon, Quellen exportieren (Export sources). Only loaded rows and visible columns are exported.
