Resetting your password

If you've forgotten your password, request a link on the sign-in page and use it to set a new one. If you still know your current password, you can change it directly in your profile.

Request a link

1. Open the KI Score sign-in page.
2. Enter your email address and click Weiter (Continue).
3. In the password step, click Passwort vergessen? (Forgot password?) next to the Passwort (Password) field.

You'll always see the same confirmation: “Falls ein Konto mit dieser E-Mail-Adresse existiert, erhalten Sie gleich einen Link zum Festlegen eines neuen Passworts.” (If an account exists for this email address, you'll shortly receive a link to set a new password.) The message deliberately doesn't reveal whether an account exists for that address. If no email arrives, check your spam folder and make sure you entered the right address.

Note: You can request at most 3 links per email address per hour. Give the email a few minutes to arrive before you request another link.

Set a new password

The link in the email takes you to the Passwort festlegen (Set password) page.

1. Under Neues Passwort (New password), enter a password with at least 8 characters.
2. Enter the same password again under Passwort wiederholen (Repeat password).
3. Click Passwort speichern (Save password).

KI Score then redirects you to the sign-in page, where you sign in with your new password. You'll also receive a confirmation email with the subject “Passwort geändert” (Password changed).

A successful reset also lifts an account lock. If your account was locked after too many failed sign-in attempts, you can sign in again with your new password.

If the link has expired

A reset link is valid for 2 hours and works only once. If it has expired or has already been used, the page shows this message when you save: “Dieser Link ist nicht mehr gültig. Bitte fordern Sie einen neuen an.” (This link is no longer valid. Please request a new one.)

1. At the bottom of the Passwort festlegen page, click Zur Anmeldung (Go to sign-in).
2. Request a new link as described above.
3. Open the new link within 2 hours.

If you no longer have access to the mailbox for your email address, contact support@kiscore.ai. You can't change your email address yourself.

Change your password in your profile

If you're signed in and know your current password, you don't need a link.

1. Open Profilmenü → Profil (Profile menu → Profile).
2. In the Passwort ändern (Change password) section, enter your existing password under Aktuelles Passwort (Current password).
3. Enter your new password, at least 8 characters long, under Neues Passwort (New password).
4. Repeat it under Neues Passwort bestätigen (Confirm new password).
5. Click Passwort speichern (Save password).
