Tracking credit usage on the plan page
How to read your available and used credits, usage per website, and the credit log with every run and refund.
Last updated 23 days ago
The plan page shows how many credits you have left in the current billing period, when you used them, and which website used them. This article walks through each part of it.
To open the plan page:
- In the sidebar, under Setup, click Einstellungen (Settings).
- Select Billing.
For a quick check, the credits widget next to the website selector at the top of the sidebar shows your remaining credits, for example “287 Credits übrig” (287 credits left).
The three credit tiles
The card for your current plan shows three figures side by side:
| Tile | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Credits verfügbar (credits available) | What is left of your plan allowance for this period. Any bonus credits are listed separately underneath, for example “+ 50 Bonus-Credits”. |
| Credits in dieser Periode verbraucht (credits used this period) | The plan credits your monitoring runs have cost since the current billing period started. Bonus credits used are listed separately underneath. |
| Tarifkontingent pro Periode (plan allowance per period) | The credits your plan includes per billing period. |
The first two tiles also show “von” (of) followed by your plan allowance, with a progress bar underneath. Both refer to plan credits only. On an Enterprise plan without a fixed credit number, the third tile shows Nach Vereinbarung (as agreed), and the “von” figure and progress bars are not shown.
Only monitoring your own prompts uses credits: 1 prompt × 1 AI provider × 1 run equals 1 credit. Every run is charged separately, even several runs on the same day. KI Score measurements, KI-Readiness, Fanouts, reports, and questions to Tactics AI do not cost credits.
Credits used over time
Below the plan card are three tabs. The Nutzung (usage) tab is selected when the page opens. The Verbrauchte Credits (credits used) chart shows usage as one bar per day. Under the chart title you see the selected time range and the total credits used in it.
- Open the drop-down at the top right of the Nutzung tab.
- Select Letzte 30 Tage (last 30 days) or Letzte 90 Tage (last 90 days).
No other ranges or custom date ranges are available here. Refunds are subtracted from the usage in the chart. If nothing was used in the range, the chart area shows “Keine Credits in diesem Zeitraum verbraucht.” (No credits used in this period.)
Usage by website
If your workspace has several websites, they all share the same credit allowance. Two places show how usage is split:
- Nach Website (by website) in the Nutzung tab: credits used per website in the range you selected for the chart.
- The Websites & Gruppen (websites and groups) tab: credits used per website in the current billing period, in the Credits in dieser Periode (credits this period) column.
Despite the tab name, KI Score does not offer website groups. The tab lists individual websites only.
The credit log
The Credit-Log (credit log) in the Nutzung tab lists every single transaction, newest first, with the columns Zeitpunkt (time), Website, Aktion (action), and Credits. The Aktion column has two entries:
- Prompt-Lauf (prompt run): credits charged for a monitoring run. Credits are charged before the run, so the entry appears as soon as the run starts.
- Erstattung (refund): credits returned because a run never started or an AI provider didn’t deliver an answer. Only one credit per delivered answer stays charged, even if a run only partly fails.
Charges appear with a minus sign, refunds with a plus sign. If part of an amount came from your bonus credits, it is followed by “davon … Bonus” (of which … bonus). The log does not depend on the range you selected for the chart. To see older entries, click Mehr laden (load more) below the table. When the KI Score team grants bonus credits, that grant does not appear in the credit log. You can see your bonus balance under the Credits verfügbar tile.
Exporting usage as CSV
- In the Nutzung tab, select the time range you want.
- Click CSV exportieren (export CSV).
You get the file credit-nutzung-YYYY-MM-DD.csv with the columns Datum (date) and Credits, which are the daily values from the chart. The breakdown by website and the credit log are not part of the file.
Note: You cannot buy additional credits. If your allowance regularly runs short, you get more credits with the next billing period or with a larger plan. You can compare the plans on the plans page.
