Preparing client reports with data from KI Score
Which metrics work well in client reports, what to consider about measurement frequency, and how to send reports to your clients with Whitelabel.

This article explains which KI Score metrics work well in recurring client reports, which plan fits which reporting cadence, and how to pass the data on to your clients as a report, PDF, or CSV file.
The right metrics for each client
In KI Score, each client is a separate website in your workspace. All metrics therefore refer to the website currently selected in the website picker in the sidebar.
For a client's KI Score, use the values from the Marktvergleich (market comparison) card on the KI Score page, which you open from KI-Score in the sidebar:
- the brand's rank in the market (column #)
- KI-Score (geglättet) (KI Score, smoothed) on a scale from 0 to 100
- Veränderung (change)
- Erwähnungsrate (letzte Messung) (mention rate, latest measurement)
The Share of AI Voice, the brand's share of all weighted mentions in the market, appears in the chart of the same name on that page.
The Veränderung column shows for each market whether a client's score has clearly changed: ▲ or ▼ only appear when the change lies outside normal measurement fluctuation. The sidebar shows only the value for your comparison market next to KI-Score, with an arrow based on the same rule. For your reports, take the statement from the Veränderung column of each market.
For monitoring the client's own prompts, use:
- the Scoreboard with answers, mention rate, citation rate, Share of Voice, and average position, each compared with the previous period, plus Sentiment (positive, neutral, negative)
- the Erwähnung % (Mention %), Zitation % (Citation %), and Tonalität (Brand sentiment) columns per prompt under Prompts
- the cited sources under Sources
Note: Monitoring metrics are always calculated with the current list of brand names, aliases, competitors, and domains. If you change these details, the values for past answers change as well. Save the numbers for a report at the time you create it, for example as a PDF or CSV export. A report that has been sent keeps the version that was sent.
Measurement frequency and plan
How often you can meaningfully report depends on the plan:
| Plan | KI Score measurement | Suitable for |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Once a month | Monthly reports |
| Advanced, Premium, Enterprise | Weekly | Weekly or monthly reports |
Markets on the Essential plan are only measured in the first measurement week of each month. If another customer on a weekly plan uses the same market, it is measured weekly, but you can't count on that. A value counts as “vorläufig” (provisional) as long as there are fewer than three scored measurements. On Essential, that takes about three months. If you want to give your clients weekly KI Score values, you need at least the Advanced plan.
Monitoring, on the other hand, follows the schedule you set for each website (daily, weekly, or monthly). Every run uses credits for each active prompt, measurement country, and AI provider. Match the schedule to your reporting cadence and to your plan's credit allowance, especially when several client websites share the same workspace. You can find an overview of the plans on the plans page.
Sending reports to clients
With reports, you put together a fixed set of analyses for each client website, such as the key figures strip, Share of Voice, and most cited domains, and send them by email monthly, quarterly, or, from the Advanced plan, weekly. Each email includes the report as a PDF and a link to the version that was sent. You can also download a report as a PDF or share it as a public link that your client opens without signing in. Reports are available on every plan and don't use any credits. Per workspace, you can save 1 report on Essential and 5 on Advanced, and unlimited reports from Premium. Keep that limit in mind if every client website should get its own report.
From the Premium plan, you add your agency's logo and sender name under Einstellungen → Whitelabel (Settings → Whitelabel). Reports, links, PDFs, and emails then carry your logo in the header. Below Premium, the page shows “Whitelabel gibt es ab Premium” (Whitelabel is included from Premium), and reports appear in the KI Score branding. Whitelabel applies to the whole workspace, so it's the same for all clients. It has limits: the sender is shown as “{sender name} via KI Score”, custom colors aren't available, public links run on the KI Score domain, and the footer says “Data provided via kiscore.ai”. The email footer also says “Sent on behalf of” with your workspace name. Custom domains and a client portal aren't available.
A report only shows the Scoreboard's monitoring data. KI Score, KI-Readiness, AI traffic, and fanouts aren't available as blocks. To include values from the market comparison, pass on an export from the KI Score page or write them into the Eigener Inhalt (Custom content) block. To learn how to create and send reports, read Creating and emailing reports.
Exporting data
You can export many of the dashboard tables as CSV files on every plan. For the market comparison, open the menu on the tab of the market you want on the KI Score page and choose Exportieren (Export). The file contains rank, brand, KI Score, Share of AI Voice, and mention rate. Your own brand is marked with “(Du)” (you) in the file. The change value is not included in this file. You’ll find it under the download icon at the top right of the KI Score page: under CSV-Daten (CSV data), Marktvergleich · Messwoche … (Market comparison · Measurement week …) also includes the Veränderung (Punkte) (Change (points)) column. There, you can also download the selected market as PDF · Kurzbericht (PDF · Brief report), PDF · Ausführlicher Bericht (PDF · Detailed report), or as PNG-Grafiken (PNG graphics).
You can download the Scoreboard from the download icon at the top right as PDF · Kurzbericht (PDF · Summary report) or PDF · Ausführlicher Bericht (PDF · Detailed report), as CSV data, or as PNG charts. The article Exporting data as CSV describes the other exports available for Prompts, Responses, Sources, and Competitors. The files only include visible columns, and under Sources, only rows that have already been loaded.
Access for clients
From the Premium plan, you can give a client their own access, limited to their website. It takes up one of your plan's team seats: 5 on Premium, 10 on Enterprise, or more by contract. To do so, invite them under Einstellungen → Mitglieder (Settings → Members) with Zugriff auf (Access to) set to Bestimmte Websites (Specific websites) and a suitable role, such as Viewer for view-only access. They then see only the websites you've released, not those of your other clients. Views, your saved filters, are stored only in your browser and can't be shared with clients.
What teams say about KI Score
“We finally see week by week where our brand shows up in ChatGPT and Perplexity.”
“The score finally gave us one number the whole team actually understands.”
“Instead of guessing which prompts matter, we now have real data.”
“Within the first week we already saw which competitor was beating us in AI answers.”
“Setup took one afternoon, not weeks of onboarding.”
“Finally a tool that takes AI Overviews as seriously as classic SEO.”
