Which emails does KI Score send?
Which system emails you receive from KI Score, when they arrive, how reports arrive by email, and what the “Email settings” page is for.
Last updated 11 days ago
KI Score sends only a handful of emails, and each one has a specific trigger: your account, your team, your credits, your subscription, or a report you send. This article lists every message, when it arrives, and what the “Email settings” page controls.
Note: The app has no notification settings. KI Score also doesn’t send alerts about changes to your KI Score, your rank, or your sources. You can follow those developments only in the dashboard. The bell in the Scoreboard’s Overview shows notifications about credits, measurements, your brand, competitors, and report delivery; see Reading notifications in the Scoreboard.
You receive system emails in the language you chose for the dashboard under Settings → Profile, either German or English.
Account and security emails
- “Confirm your email”: After you sign up, you receive a code to confirm your email address. The code is valid for 10 minutes.
- “Welcome to KI Score”: Arrives as soon as your email address is confirmed.
- “Reset your password”: When you request a new password, you receive a link for setting it.
- “Password changed”: Every time your password changes, KI Score confirms it by email. If you didn’t change your password yourself, contact support@kiscore.ai.
Invitation and team emails
- “Your access to KI Score”: The KI Score team created an account for you, for example as part of an Enterprise contract. You set your password through the link in the email.
- “Invitation to the KI Score team”: You were invited with an email address that doesn’t have an account yet. Use Set password to set up your access.
- “Access to the KI Score team”: An existing account with no data of its own was added to a team. You sign in as usual, for example with Open KI Score in the email.
Credit and run emails
- “Your credits are running low”: Sent as soon as your balance drops to 20% of your allowance or below. It goes out once each time you cross that threshold, not after every further run.
- “Scheduled monitoring run skipped”: A run from your schedule couldn’t start because you didn’t have enough credits. You get this email once for each skipped slot. As soon as credits are available again, KI Score catches up with exactly one run, not every missed slot.
More credits come with your next billing period or with a larger plan. You can’t buy additional credits. You’ll find the plans on the plans page.
Payment and subscription emails
- “Payment failed - action required”: A payment for your subscription didn’t go through. This email goes to the main account, which owns the subscription and billing.
- “Subscription cancelled”: Your subscription has ended. This email also goes to the main account. Without an active subscription, your workspace is read-only.
All the emails above are system emails. You can’t turn them off.
Emails with reports
KI Score also sends reports from your workspace by email: on a delivery plan, or as a test email with Send test email. They go only to the recipients entered for them. Each person gets a separate email with an Open report button and the report attached as a PDF. The subject shows the report’s name and the period, with “[Test]” in front for test emails. The sender address is always noreply@kiscore.ai. The sender name is “KI Score” or, if a sender name is set in the whitelabel, “{sender name} via KI Score”. The header shows your whitelabel logo. Without a logo, it shows the whitelabel sender name, or otherwise your workspace name or “KI Score”. The footer reads “Sent on behalf of {workspace name} · Data as of … · Data provided via kiscore.ai”. If the workspace is still named after your email address, the footer shows the sender name or “KI Score” instead. Report emails use the language the workspace’s account owner chose in their profile.
To stop a delivery, open Manage reports in the Overview and edit the report: use Remove delivery schedule or delete all recipients from the delivery. The report itself stays saved. To learn more, see Creating and emailing reports.
Unsubscribing from optional emails
Marketing emails and optional product updates are handled on the public “Email settings” page. KI Score doesn’t currently send emails of this kind. If you do receive one, it contains an unsubscribe link to that page.
- Open the unsubscribe link in the email.
- On the “Email settings” page, click Unsubscribe from emails.
After that, you won’t receive any more marketing emails or optional product updates. The page doesn’t offer topic choices or a way to subscribe again. The system emails listed above keep coming, and your account and subscription stay unchanged.
