Starting a monitoring run right away
Use “Einmal messen” (Measure once) to measure your active prompts right away. This article covers costs, status messages, and refunds when a run fails.

You don't have to wait for the next scheduled run: you can also start a monitoring run manually from the schedule. This article shows how, what such a run costs, and what happens when some AI providers don't respond.
“Einmal messen” in the schedule
A manual run sends all active prompts of the selected website to the AI providers currently selected in the schedule. You don't need to save the schedule for this.
- At the top of the sidebar, select the website you want to measure.
- Open Zeitplan (Schedule) in the sidebar.
- Check the selection under KI-Anbieter (AI providers). It only applies to this measurement; your saved schedule stays unchanged.
- Click Einmal messen (Measure once). The button also shows how many credits the run costs, for example Einmal messen · 24 Credits.
- In the “Messung starten?” (Start measurement?) dialog, check the credits for this measurement and your available balance. The info icon shows the calculation, for example “12 Prompts × 2 KI-Anbieter” (12 prompts × 2 AI providers).
- Click Für 24 Credits starten (Start for 24 credits).
The dashboard reports “Messung gestartet.” (Measurement started.) and closes the dialog.
Einmal messen is locked while a measurement is already running for the website, when the website has no active prompts, or when your balance isn't enough. Without active prompts, the schedule shows “Keine aktiven Prompts. Es wird kein Lauf gestartet.” (No active prompts. No run will be started.) Paused prompts aren't measured.
What a manual run costs
A manual run costs the same as an automatic one: active prompts × selected AI providers. A website measures at most 500 active prompts. Credits are deducted before the run starts.
Every run is charged separately. If you start several runs on the same day, or one in addition to a scheduled run, each of them costs credits again. A manual run doesn't replace a scheduled one.
If your balance isn't enough, no run starts. The schedule then shows how many credits are missing, for example “Für einen Lauf fehlen 6 Credits (nötig 24, verfügbar 18).” (6 credits are missing for a run: 24 needed, 18 available.) You can't buy additional credits. You only get more credits with the next billing period or a larger plan. You'll find the plans on the plans page.
Status and results
While the run is in progress, the sidebar entry is called Messung läuft (Measurement running). Clicking it opens the schedule with the progress, for example “12 von 24 Abfragen abgeschlossen” (12 of 24 queries completed). Before that, it shows “Messung wartet auf den Start…” (Measurement waiting to start…) or “Messung wird vorbereitet…” (Measurement being prepared…). You don't need to do anything and can leave the page.
When the run is complete, the dashboard reports the result:
- “Lauf abgeschlossen. Ergebnisse sind da.” (Run completed. Results are in.): All queries to the AI providers were successful.
- “Lauf abgeschlossen: 3 von 24 Antworten fehlgeschlagen, 3 Credits erstattet.” (Run completed: 3 of 24 answers failed, 3 credits refunded.): Some of the queries failed.
- “Lauf fehlgeschlagen: Keine Antwort erhalten, 24 Credits erstattet.” (Run failed: no answer received, 24 credits refunded.): No provider responded.
You'll then find the new answers under Responses, the metrics for each prompt under Prompts, and the overview in the Scoreboard.
When providers fail
Not every run succeeds completely. The successful answers are saved and analyzed. Answers that can't be fetched within 24 hours count as failed.
If a run returns no answers at all, the bell in the Scoreboard also shows the notification “Messung fehlgeschlagen” (Measurement failed).
When credits are refunded
Only one credit per delivered answer is charged. For every answer that fails or is never queried, you get back the credit that was deducted in advance. This also applies when only part of a run fails. If a run doesn't start at all, you get all credits back.
You can see the refund under Einstellungen → Billing (Settings → Billing) on the Nutzung (Usage) tab, in the Credit-Log. It's listed in the Aktion (Action) column as “Erstattung” (Refund).
